Uday Kiran Commits suicide, dead & reasons

Popular for his lover boy roles, hero Uday Kiran committed suicide at his residence in Srinagar Colony, Hyderabad late Sunday night. Doctors declared him brought dead upon shifting him to Apollo hospitals in Film Nagar for medical attention.
Born on January 26, 1980, Uday Kiran shot to fame with his debut flick ‘Chitram’ and later went on doing blockbuster movies like Nuvvu Nenu, Manasanta Nuvve and Nee Sneham. Way back in 2003, he is engaged to Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sushimta, but the marriage was called off due to incompatibily issues. On October 24th last year, he married his long time love Visishta in a low-key affair. Reasons for resorting to this extreme step are unknown, but fans of the hero are left in severe depression with the news.
Whole of Tollywood is shocked by this breaking news of Uday Kiran’s death, as it is hard to believe that a promising actor left this world so early. He is just 33 year old and will be celebrating his birthday in 20 more days.
Personal Life


Uday Kiran was born on 26 June 1980 to VVK Murthy and Nirmala. He had an elder sister, Sridevi. He graduated in commerce at Wesley College, Secunderabad.


He started off modeling, and was Mr. Aptech in the year 1996. He married Vishitha on October 24, 2012.


Kiran was engaged to Chiranjeevi's daughter Sushmitha in 2003 but the engagement was subsequently broken due to 'incompatibility issues'.



Kiran committed suicide on 5 January 2014, reportedly hanging himself in his Srinagar flat.

Reason For Uday Kiran’s Suicide?


The reason are not much clear but according to the reports it can be family disputes. But till now nothing has been confirmed. Investigation has started considering every corner of his life. Another reason can be his detoriating career as his movies were not doing well in the box office. He had a half of dozen flop movies in his career but this reason should not be the reason of suicide. Gambling can be one of the reasons. Mounting Debts due to gambling might have attributed to suicide. Time will tell us truth behind the suicide.


Banjara Hills Police has filed Uday Kiran’s case as ‘suspicious death’. Satyanarayana, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Banjara Hills, said “Not murder, but we have filed the case as suspicious death. We will investigate thoroughly from every aspect and will check whether his death was happened by hanging with postmortem report”.


He also added that doctors confirmed that his was dead at 1:16 am on monday morning. Initial investigations suggest that he was in financial crisis and was not involved in work since last one year, which led him into huge depression. Well no note was found but his last message was “love you” to his wife.
